Matiko is an internationally recognized and award-winning artist whose paintings are in collections in both Europe and the U.S. She lives and creates in Media, PA, near Philadelphia.

In describing her process, she says: "I start painting right onto the canvas, without any preliminary sketching, letting the brush or a palette knife take me places. It's spontaneous, fresh and surprising, just like life itself. You can't plan it - it's all unpredictable."
